We know how important it is to stay informed about your health. At Braidwood Doctors, we use a secure SMS system to notify you when your test results have been reviewed by your doctor.

​Our reception team cannot provide test results over the phone or by email.
To protect your privacy and ensure accuracy, results are shared during a consultation with your doctor.​

Need a Copy of Your Results? Here Are Your Options:

​1. Check Your My Health Record

​If you’re registered, pathology results usually appear 7 days after finalisation.
Note: Radiology (scans/imaging) won’t show here — you’ll need to contact your radiology provider directly (e.g., I-MED, Laverty, DHM).
Download the My Health App to view results on your phone.

2. During a GP Appointment

Need urgent access or want to ask questions?
Book a telehealth or in-person appointment with your GP — this is the best way to understand your results.

3. Via Your Specialist

If you're seeing a specialist, they can request your results directly from the pathology or radiology provider.
This is often the fastest and simplest option.

Health Recalls & Reminders

You may receive SMS reminders for:
• Routine check-ups
• Follow-up tests
• Immunisations or screening

These are part of our recall system to help you stay on top of your health.

​Still Have Questions?

Book an appointment with your GP if:
• You're unsure about a result
• You haven’t received an SMS after 5 business days
• Your symptoms have changed or worsened

How We Manage Results

​Your results will be reviewed by your doctor.

Your doctor will determine if your results:
• Require no further action
• Are non-urgent but require follow-up
• Urgently require follow-up

We will contact you if your Doctor would like you to book an appointment to discuss your results however, if you would like to check your test results, please call 4842 1034 on Tuesdays and Fridays only between 1:30pm and 2:30pm and ask to speak to our Practice nurse.

Note: If you’ve had multiple tests, we won’t contact you until all results are back and reviewed together.

How You’ll Receive Your Results​

Once all your test results are back and reviewed, we will contact you if your Doctor would like you to book an appointment to discuss your results.

However, if you would like to check your test results, please call 4842 1034 on Tuesdays and Fridays only between 1:30pm and 2:30pm and ask to speak to our Practice nurse.
